I ran as an independent voice for a College that has been too-long dominated by political forces that use the college for self-interested patronage contracting and hiring. The College Board of Trustees needs more independent voices to avoid a pattern of arbitrary hirings and firings and insider contracting that is being driven by outsiders with political control.
